Siccoso Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Siccoso mobile app ("Siccoso", "the service"). The service is provided by Yahya Mert Çakmak, an individual living in the United Kingdom ("we"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. The service

Siccoso asks you YES/NO questions and shows how other users answered, in aggregate. You can suggest questions and receive question notifications. We may change the service's features over time.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Siccoso.
  • You are responsible for the security of the e-mail address or Google account you sign in with.
  • The information you give must be accurate. Birth year and gender are optional.

4. Plans, subscriptions and payment

  • On the FREE plan you have 10 questions a day. The allowance renews every day.
  • On the PREMIUM plan there is no daily question limit. Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription with no free trial.
  • Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under that store's rules. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel, use your device's store subscription settings; the app's Aboneliğin (Your subscription) screen takes you there.
  • We may also give you Premium as a gift. A gifted Premium's end date is shown in the app; it involves no payment or subscription.
  • Deleting your account does not cancel your store subscription. Cancel it in the store first.
  • Prices are shown in the store and may change under the store's rules.
  • Right of withdrawal. Premium is a service performed electronically the moment you buy it. For consumers in Türkiye there is therefore no right of withdrawal under Article 15(1)(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation. Refund requests are made to the store under its rules. Your statutory rights under the law of the country where you live, including any right to withdraw, are not affected.

5. Answers

Your answers are final; they cannot be changed or withdrawn afterwards. They count towards aggregate results without your identity being shown.

6. Your question suggestions

  • We review your suggestions and accept or reject them. We may edit an accepted suggestion and publish it as a question.
  • By sending a suggestion, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free and transferable licence to use, edit and display its text as a question in Siccoso.
  • A published question remains, without your name, even if you delete your account.
  • You may not suggest anything unlawful, hateful, targeting individuals, containing personal data, or infringing someone else's rights.

7. Prohibited use

When using Siccoso you may not:

  • create accounts, receive questions or answer them by automated means,
  • try to influence results with more than one account,
  • try to breach, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service,
  • use the service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Closing your account

  • You can close your account at any time under Profil → Hesabı sil (Delete account). Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone; what is deleted is explained in the Privacy Policy.
  • If you breach these terms, we may suspend or close your account.

9. Limitation of liability

Siccoso is provided "as is". Its questions and aggregate results are for curiosity and entertainment; they are not a scientific survey or representative research. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and where the law allows you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence and, in Türkiye, apply to the consumer arbitration committees.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app about any significant change; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: info@siccoso.com.
